Haryana LWF Contribution Revised from January 2026

The Haryana Labour Welfare Board has revised the Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) contribution limits as per Notification No. HLWB/REV/2026/3436 issued on 8, May, 2026.

Effective January 1, 2026, the maximum employee contribution has been increased from ?34 to ?35 per month, while employers will contribute twice the employee’s share.

Key Changes in Haryana LWF (Effective 1st January 2026)

  • Employee Contribution: 0.02% of salary or Wages or any remuneration, subject to a maximum cap of ?35 per month.
  • Employer Contribution: Twice the employee contribution, subject to a maximum cap of ?70 per month
  • Previous Contribution Cap (2025): ?34 (employee) and ?68 (employer)

Each employer in respect of each such employee shall contribute to the fund every month, twice the amount contributed by such employee.

Action Required for Employers

Organizations should review and update payroll configurations to ensure the revised Haryana LWF contribution limits are applied from January 2026 onwards to remain compliant with statutory requirements.
